Nostalgia#8: Badminton

Playing badminton is one of our way to get our stress. Last year is the stressful year for me because of different activities we had been prepared. But, this is not actually a hindrance of our badminton session because after our training at 9:00 in the evening I and my co-league can still escaped just to play our sport.

We enjoyed playing badminton because we are also conscious of our health. We want to burn some fats, look fit and earn good health. We are also enjoyed taking pictures while we are playing.

Anyways, I miss playing badminton. The last time we played that I remember was last February this year. A reason why I am now getting fatter and heavier because we stopped our sports exercised. Do you know who is our team leader? It's Lainy, cheers!!

Music Monday#8 The One That You Love by Air Supply

I am an Air Supply fanatic. I remember when I was in high school back in my teenage time. I remember that i wished to watch the Air Supply Live Concert, but I know it was impossible for me because I am poor and I can't afford to buy a very expensive ticket for a concert. That's 22 years ago.

Two years ago, when I heard that the Air Supply should perform here in General Santos City. And heard that Mr. Bariles sponsored a blog contest for a free ticket, I did not hesitated to join in the said contest. Before the concert, we received our free tickets (2 for my entry) and 2 for the entry of Lollii-pii.

I enjoyed my time watching the Live Concert of Air Supply. Now, my dream was fulfilled and I was satisfy to see their performance live though it was only once. Anyways, I love all their songs and I want to share with you guys one of their famous song.

Nostalgia#7:River Tubing at Maitum, Sarangani Province

Have you tried to fight your life in this wild running water? What would you do if you drown in this strong untamed water then the big rock waited you to hurt?

I still pursued to play my life in the said water and deadly big rocks. I said to myself, I am brave and I know I can survived.

When my group are ready for the adventure I hurriedly wore the helmet and the life jacket for protection in case we were be lost.

In this picture I am uneasy and I need to fake my smile on the camera.

After 5 second briefing, we prepared ourselves for the adventure.

Ok, here we are, enjoying the the wild water and deadly rocks facing on us everytime we were trapped in the whirlpool water. I experienced to sink once and thanks to my rescuer, I was not hurt too much.

Some of my group drowned in the water and been hurt from the big rocks they encountered.

Indeed, we had successful adventure and we had enjoy the water though it was dangerous. Seeing the strong water after the adventure I had realized that I've been put my life in danger. I promised myself that I will not to play my life again in this kind of activity, one is enough at least I had try one.wheeeewwwww!!!

Tuesday Thanksfulness#1:Thank You Sir

This man sitting beside me had become the source of my finances until now. This is the time for me to thank and acknowledge him because of his kindness. Behind it, I want to thank God for the day when He answered my prayer. It was on February 2004 when I was struggling to look for a job. My extra job before was not enough to sustain our daily needs. It was so depressing and I don't know how to start my life before. I was so grateful that somebody introduced with me this certain man and I did not hesitate to apply for any vacant jobs in his office.

Of course, I undergo an interview and he only asked me if I was willing to volunteer in his office without salary. I accepted the offer and I received my weekly allowance from my boss. To make it short, I received my everyday allowance, monthly salary and talent fee from my extra job which is now I am enjoying. Through this Tuesday Thankfulness, I will share the countless blessings which I am enjoying now.

This time, I would like to say thank you for my boss who become part of the blessings that I received from Above.

Sunday Special: Understanding the Great Salvation

When God saw the condition of His scattered people; He saw they have no shepherd, No one who guides them, No one who protect them.

God made a decision to sent His PRECIOUS SON to us in order to guide us for a Great Salvation.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." JOHN 3:16-17. By His gracious love, God sent His Son to the world to SAVE us. This is how God care for our SALVATION.

Salvation is like a successful marriage. It takes two. It is not enough if only the woman is committed. One partner can be full of love and enthusiasm, while the other is cold and distant. Of course this will not work! If you want to enjoy human love, you have to receive it. This is also true concerning God’s love. Therefore we need to open our hearts to receive this gift of salvation God has for us and willingly follow Him. God loves you and He has a wonderful plan of peace, purpose, and fulfillment for you as an individual.

The plan is for you to obtain salvation through JESUS CHRIST His Son.

1 Thessalonians 5:9: “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ”


What is Salvation?

Salvation is God’s love gift to those who believe in Him. Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…”

Sometimes it is called the “new birth”, or being “born again.” John 3:3:”Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

This means that just as you were born physically into the human family, you are born spiritually into God’s family through salvation.

Salvation is having your sins forgiven. Luke 1:77”To give knowledge of slavation unto his people by the remission of their sins.” Romans 3:23-24 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by this grace through the the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

But we can receive forgiveness of sins through salvation by believing in JESUS CHRIST.

Salvation is having fellowship with God”. Salvation gives you the assurance of eternal life. Romans 6:23:For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD.”


Salvation gives you the freedom to pursue the ultimate purpose of God in your life.

Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

I am sick, got headache and very tired. Though, i am not feeling well, I still need to get-up from my bed to prepare myself to go in my work. I have a lot of things to accomplish.

Anyways, I still have time to get into my Music Monday. Since, I miss my dear one, I want to reminisce the moment that he sung a song for me when I was in his side.

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."

I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.

After Shock in Japan

We were shocked after knowing the tragedy that caused Japan's misery. That major catastrophe alarmed the world because of the aftershocks that occurred after the 8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan.

Some areas in the Philippines are in the alert level because of the tsunami. And upon updating the midnight news, all areas are cleared now according to philvocs information, so dear Filipinos, we have nothing to worry; we are all safe as of now. But still, let us pray for our brothers in Japan and all over the world.

Nostalgia#6: Estudyante blues

I miss my night school. When I started to received my salary from my job, I decided to enroll in STI College and Educational Center in this city. I choose night class to avoid conflict in my day work. One thing I miss in my school days was my best friend Jenemie. She was my classmate in all subjects and we enrolled in the same vocational course. Jenemie knew my secret and she was the one who comforted me when I felt the pain after I back home from Malaysia.

I remember when I got some problem of my schedule because the school did not offer a night time class. I have no choice but to get some picky time like 7:00am-8:00am, 12:00 noon to 1:00pm, 4:30pm-6:00pm, respectively. Sometimes, I was crying because I was very tired from my work. I need to asked permission from my teachers for being late all the time. Good for me because my teachers allowed me to get late, thanks for their big heart and patience.

That time, I have a lot of absences and I need to cope and complete my quizzes and exams. Finally, I decided to drop out all my subjects because I have no time to attend in my class. But, my friend Jenemie encouraged me to continue my studies. My friend Jenny is the one who help me to recover all my lacking quizes, assignments and projects. She let me to borrow her notebook and give some ideas about our test. Thanks, I have a friend who are helping me all the time.

My friend Jenny is presently working in Hongkong and we were kept in touched through YM. Maybe soon she return after her contract. I wish and hope that we have time to get together and have a girls talk. This is for you sis, I miss you so much!!

And everytime, I miss our memories, I looked our pictures and I am so much blessed to met a good friend like her. She is very caring and she is always there every time I am down. Love you sis and I am sorry because the time you are depressed I was far away from you. But I know your strong and brave, like me.

A Maiden's Journey..

Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived. But it is our path to become more aware in every struggle of our life. It is how we driven our life not by chances but through our choices. My destiny is not your destiny, but I believe that we have the same experiences but different circumtances.

I have scuffled many nights as days for my life, i became a prisoner from my fear, which delivered me in a pathetic situation. A fear that I suffered for a long time from the hand of an unrighteous one. Sufferings, pains, failures, troubles and mornings in his hand, but through this event, the way of my life changed in the year's course, and this is the new beginning of my life.

I became more aware of my life, my task is to love myself before anything else, promise myself not to suffer a burden because of somebody else, to exhibit self meditation for me to know how close I am with myself. But since, I am in the middle of my voyage, I needed strength from the strong wind that I had faced in the middle of the blue dark water of the roaring ocean waves and I need to train myself in every drastic storm which will try to engulf my unbeatable life.

This unexpected events are adversities which could no longer be notice. Where we have to go...a decision that we need to make... and think what is desirable, but, before we decide, we need to listen to our heart, mind, body and soul. It should be necessary to coordinate with them to be more effective and efficient in all aspects of our life.


Now, I found out that a happy life wouldn't be complete without a littles spies of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it weren't balanced with sadness. Happiness can neither be seen nor felt only in luxurious , popularity and power but by being typical.

Above all, God is very important and in control of things spiritually, mentally and physically in short (SMP). Wherein, love is very important.. that love is the fulfilling law of God..and all of this is part of my Voyage.

Nostalgia#5: My Second Travel in Malaysia with Friends.

Since, I had been in Malaysia, I suggested my friends to have a vacation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I told them that I've been in Genting Highland and it was a nice and great place for pleasure. We had decided to booked a plane ticket together with our friends and I brought with me my daughter in our journey last June 19, 2010.

Our vacation in this place is simply a great memories that we had. We enjoyed and cherished our moments and we are glad that during our journey we did not experience any misunderstanding. I and my dearest one have a great memoirs too. Although he is busy, he gave us time to drive by his car and entertained us by his all means.
