Tuesday Thankfulness#3: It's all about contest

I received the invitation from this smart and pretty lady who celebrating the 3^rd year blogoversary of her blog. I described her as an intelligent, creative and talented persona. She is the lady who owns the crown of famous because of her thought and idea of writing. I appreciated and praised the creativeness of her writing and the truthfulness of every word is highly valued. Through her, the Maiden’s Testimony was borne.

She didn’t stopped to encourage me to be part in the blogosphere, which is now the reason why I didn’t stopped to learn and explore in my second world .

I didn’t know about blog and I am not interested about it. I have no talent in writing, that’s what I insisted every time she shared a positive things about blog. I said to myself, I have nothing to prove with myself because I considered me as a dump. But, she proved me that I was wrong. And even me, I can’t believe that I had a talent to write.

How I can forget my entry that had a fifth place in her 1^st blogosversary 2 years ago, entitled “Blog To World, blog for you and Me” contest with 26 participants. I tell you, this was the challenging part of those who participated in that contest..hahahahha!!! I remember, I met a lot of virtual friends, just like, Windy, Zorlone, Twinks, Twerlyn, Recel, Shydub, Cacai, Allena, David Funk and Bill. And I remember my first commenter in that contest was Mariuca. Why the contest was very challenging? Because, every participants need to campaign and vote in your entry. Anyways, the one that I am describing here is the one who celebrating her 3^rd year blogoversary: Gravatar Contest, the one we called “Lainy” borne by the name “lainybelle” who owns the Lainy’s Musings, Our Journey to forever, Kuerdas and The Certfied Fashionable Chic this is for you dear friend and thank you so much for being my mentor. A maiden’s testimony will not be borne if I didn't listen to your encouragement. Thank you also for the great support and positive evaluation of my writings..hahahahah…though I write a lot of wrong grammar, you still there who appreciated it. Because of you, I have now a 2^nd world, my virtual world!

Music Monday#8 The One That You Love by Air Supply

I am an Air Supply fanatic. I remember when I was in high school back in my teenage time. I remember that i wished to watch the Air Supply Live Concert, but I know it was impossible for me because I am poor and I can't afford to buy a very expensive ticket for a concert. That's 22 years ago.

Two years ago, when I heard that the Air Supply should perform here in General Santos City. And heard that Mr. Bariles sponsored a blog contest for a free ticket, I did not hesitated to join in the said contest. Before the concert, we received our free tickets (2 for my entry) and 2 for the entry of Lollii-pii.

I enjoyed my time watching the Live Concert of Air Supply. Now, my dream was fulfilled and I was satisfy to see their performance live though it was only once. Anyways, I love all their songs and I want to share with you guys one of their famous song.

Welcome STAR

The chronicle of daily events of my life started when I become a blogger. I choose not to belong in this kind of community as I know how pitiful my ideas. I have no skills in writing even using a correct usage of grammar. I considered myself a dumb one and I concluded that my brain can’t reach the mind of a bright and smart people around this globe.

I remember when my co-worker Lainy of Lainy’s Musings talks about blogging. Every time she talks about blogs and blogger's friend, I am there to listened. For curiosity, I tried to open her blogs and read her interesting articles, until I decided to asked her help. Then A MAIDEN'S TESTIMONY was born. Gradually, I met her virtual friends and become close with them.

Well, It is not easy to be a writer of your own life, especially when I decided to be part in a contest featured by Lainy and I was been judged of this article "BLOG TO THE WORLD; BLOG FOR YOU AND ME", ha!ha!ha!...I remember I need to campaign my anecdote to the world!!! Honestly, I really enjoyed this moment, especially when the contest results was published and I was in top 5. Aahhhhhhhhhh, i remember, I started to welcome friends and chatted with them. I've been close to Windy (Windmill on the Hill) and Uncle Che, LAiny's Friends, I am be thankful because they become my friend same to my other virtual friends .

I learned a lot from them and I have a responsibility to take care of those friends who are dear to me. To Windy who published a new article for me through LAiny's Site, entitled "The modern PArable of a Widow's Mite".

With this article I am proud to accept the Golden Award from Windy of Windmill o the Hill.

Well, I become invisible on this site for almost five months, I welcome again myself for accepting this GOLDEN HEART AWARD from you Windy. And I would like to say THANK YOU for the articles you wrote for me.

Before I forgot, I also want to say "thank you " for TWINK's who made this forever lay-out of my blog, sis, we miss you and please stay sweet and pretty. To all my friends here, hope to see you again with your comments.

Air Supply - I CAN'T LET GO

Not all love story has a happy ending. It is not always like a fairy tale of Cinderella that we are wishing in our life. Love has a fate in every human being and we have different experiences and fairy tale of love that sometimes would hold us of what we believe because of the word LOVE. A feeling that bothered me most when I love someone that I can't own neither he can't own me.

My love life is very complicated, I need to sacrifice for the unavoidable event that arises in my life. The Man that I love most is the one who let me go but I CAN'T LET GO.

Yes, I CAN'T LET GO of AIR SUPPLY is the song that gave my love a life every time I listened and hear the song. A reason why I can't control the tears in my eyes. I CAN' T LET GO because behind everything I kept him in my heart and still wishing that there is still another chance to nourish the love that we've started but I am fated to be lost in love.

Beyond the time that we've shared and spent together, I CAN'T LET GO as I am locked by our love. I CAN'T LET GO, when he let me to discover that I am a woman. A woman who conquered the whole world with full of joy and happiness when he spent his little time with me. I CAN'T LET GO because the deepest and the memories he brings with me is the satisfaction and security of love. A love that I kept momentarily in my heart which bring me sometimes lonely is the night every time I long for him to stay beside me. I CAN'T LET GO, when I sleep and all become my sweet dreams that I though the love will last now and forever.
